Congressman Ed Case' letter to Mayor Baptiste March 16, 2006 , prior to the Plea Agreement dated May 24, 2006
I had emailed Congressman Ed Case and he responded with this letter to Mayor Baptiste and myself. Incidentally I had a meeting with the Mayor and he did not step up to the plate and offer a resolve and in fact was backing away from this immense problem of police corruption. My meeting with Mayor Baptiste was May 25, 2006. He did not even acknowledge receiving this letter from Congressman Ed Case. This is a plea for our Congressman to invoke the [§5-7.5] "Aloha Spirit".
After reviewing the plea offer and the audio files and comparing them with one another, you can see that there is plenty of evidence that negates my guilt. I have asked for Congressman Case to acknowledge this statute and ask for him to enforce this HRS law as there are no checks and balances in our judicial system and they have failed miserably to self-regulate their actions. They have failed to act with the 'ALOHA SPIRIT"
April 6, 2006 I sent an email to Lt. Governor Duke Aiona. In response to my
request for intervention, his Deputy Chief of Staff and General Council
Kevin A. Souza responded in the following letter:
MAY 18, 2006 U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE ANONYMOUS DOCUMENTS SENT TO ME CAST AN INTERESTING LIGHT INTO JUST HOW MUCH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE KNOWS ABOUT KAUAI AND IT'S PROBLEMS. IT IS OBVIOUS SOMEONE WANTS MY PERSONAL INVESTIGATION INTO KAUAI POLICE AND PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS PURSUIT OF JUSTICE.
SENATOR HOOSER: YOU ARE SADLY MISTAKEN
